For two months, from August 1 to September 30, 2024, Matahari customers have contributed to providing a positive impact through the Education Support program for children in Papua with Matahari customers.
Funds in the form of Customer Donations amounting to Rp 103,101,691 were successfully collected and have been distributed through the Papua Hope Education Foundation (YPHP), a non-profit organization that focuses on the education and health of children in the interior of Papua, Indonesia.
This donation fund is used to support the construction of Sekolah Lentera Harapan (SLH) Karubaga, located in Tolikara Regency, Papua Pegunungan Province. The donation was distributed and used as part of the SLH Karubaga Construction Material Procurement program. The school is currently under development to increase capacity and improve facilities to accommodate more students.

In the 2024-2025 academic year, SLH Karubaga already has 284 students, and with the expansion of this school, it is hoped that more children in the area will be able to experience quality education.
