Your Urban Contemporary Fashion Brand is Here: ZES Officially Opens Its First Store at Plaza Blok M

ZES, a contemporary fashion brand and one of Matahari’s private labels, proudly announces the opening of its very first store. Strategically located at Plaza Blok M, an area recognized as a hub of creativity and a destination for urban lifestyle, the presence of ZES is expected to become a new symbol of authentic and relevant style for Indonesia’s young generation.

The choice of Blok M as the first store location is no coincidence. The area is widely known as Jakarta’s cultural and creative hub where lifestyle, community, and fashion intersect. ZES aims to become part of this vibrant energy by creating a new space for self-expression through fashion.

 

The ZES store, located on the 2nd floor of Plaza Blok M, was officially introduced to the public through its private launch on Friday (19/9). ZES collections offer a wide range of options for both men and women, from workwear to casual wear, each designed with a modern, chic, and sophisticated touch. Every ZES piece is crafted to enhance confidence and highlight the strong character of its wearer.

As part of its commitment to engage with communities, ZES also introduces an exclusive segment: ZES Curated. This initiative is the result of collaboration with two prominent fashion icons, Tamara Dai and Alegeor, who were selected as curators for their close ties to the fashion and urban lifestyle scene. Their special picks are showcased in a dedicated section, providing visitors with more personal style inspiration.

“Since its initial launch at the end of 2024, ZES has grown quickly and received warm support from consumers. With the opening of our first store, our hope is for ZES to be more than just a fashion brand. We want it to represent Indonesia’s urban lifestyle culture as a brand with urban contemporary and accessible designs created for the everyday lives of modern individuals,” said Tommy Indra, VP of Merchandising for Special Projects, Matahari.

As part of the celebration, ZES Café popped up in collaboration with SuasanaKopi and Tokyo 2100 on 20 September 2025, treating shoppers to a special menu of sushi boxes and limited-edition brown sugar coffee, along with exclusive merchandise.

Beyond the opening day, customers can enjoy other treats. Purchases of ZES Coffee at SuasanaKopi include a Rp50,000 ZES shopping voucher, available until 10 October 2025. To complete the experience, a specially designed OOTD photobox will be available at the first ZES store until 26 September 2025.
