Matahari officially announced the results of the Customer Donation program for the period of May 2024. This program, which has become a routine activity of Matahari, allows customers to contribute to eradicating poverty, improving community welfare, and supporting children's education in Indonesia through donations at Matahari cashiers throughout Indonesia.
In May 2024, Matahari managed to collect customer donations of Rp 48,821,552. For this period, Matahari again entrusted the distribution of donations to the Harapan Papua Education Foundation, continuing the collaboration that had been established in January 2024.

The donation has been realized and used for several needs for more than 600 students and more than 50 teachers in the interior of Papua, namely:
- SLH Mokndoma and Daboto Internet Costs: Providing monthly internet packages for 2 Lentera Harapan Schools (SLH), which support 155 students, along with 23 teachers, in the interior of Papua to access information that strengthens the teaching and learning process.
- Procurement of Fish Seeds and Feed: Distributing fish seeds and feed to 5 schools and 5 villages in Papua, including SLH Holuwon, Nalca, and Korupun in Yahukimo Regency; SLH Tumdungbon in Pegunungan Bintang Regency; and SLH Mokndoma in Puncak Regency. This initiative is expected to meet the nutritional and animal protein needs of 553 students and 37 teachers in the five schools.
