Matahari officially announced the results of the Customer Donation program for the May 2024 period. This program, which has become a regular initiative by Matahari, allows customers to contribute towards poverty alleviation, improving community welfare, and supporting children's education in Indonesia through donations made at Matahari cashier counters across the country.
In May 2024, Matahari successfully raised IDR 48,821,552 in customer donations. For this period, Matahari once again entrusted the distribution of the donations to Yayasan Pendidikan Harapan (YPH) Papua, continuing the collaboration established in January 2024.

These donations have been allocated and utilized for various needs of students and teachers in remote Papua, including:
- Internet Costs for SLH Mokndoma and Daboto: Providing monthly internet packages for 11 Sekolah Lentera Harapan (SLH), supporting 92 teachers and 1,440 students in remote Papua to access information that strengthens the teaching and learning process.
- Provision of Fish Seed and Feed: Distributing fish seeds and feed to 5 schools and 5 villages in Papua, including SLH Holuwon, Nalca, and Korupun in Yahukimo Regency; SLH Tumdungbon in Pegunungan Bintang Regency; and SLH Mokndoma in Puncak Regency. This initiative aims to meet the nutritional and animal protein needs of teachers and students
