From October 1 to December 31, 2024, Matahari customers once again demonstrated their generosity through the Customer Donation Program. Through this collective contribution, a total of IDR 191,905,714 was raised and distributed through Lentera Bagi Bangsa (LBB), an educational scholarship program under Yayasan Lentera Membangun Bangsa (YLMB). LBB is dedicated to supporting students from financially disadvantaged families at Sekolah Lentera Harapan (SLH). The funds were used to support children's education across various SLH schools in Indonesia, ensuring they have better access to quality education.
The funds were allocated to sponsor the education of 53 students in several SLH locations, including:
- SLH Kupang: 19 students
- SLH Jati Agung: 8 students
- SLH Palopo: 7 students
- SLH Medan: 7 students
- SLH Gunungsitoli Utara: 12 students
Each student received an education scholarship of IDR 3,600,000 per year, bringing the total scholarship aid to IDR 190,800,000. Additionally, an extra IDR 1,105,714 was distributed to support other educational needs.
