PT Matahari Department Store Tbk (“Matahari”) supports TNI Health Workers (Nakes) by providing 1000 pairs of sports shoes for health workers in Eastern Indonesia on September 15, 2021 at the TNI IX-Udayana Hospital, Denpasar, Bali. Through this program, Matahari shows concern and support for each other to TNI Health Workers in Udayana to fight against Covid-19.
The current Covid-19 pandemic situation in Indonesia cannot be separated from all the efforts and hard work of health workers, as they are the front line in dealing with Covid-19. TNI health workers are heroes of goodness who dedicate their lives to helping Covid-19 patients. Therefore, Matahari hopes that the 1000 pairs of shoes provided will be very useful to support their mobility and will be used as daily necessities in activities to help Covid-19 patients.
1000 pairs of sports shoes were symbolically handed over to the representative of the Head of Health of the IX / Udayana Military Regional Command (Kakesdam) Col. Military Health Corps (CKM), dr. I Made Mardika, SpPD, MARS at the IX-Udayana TNI Hospital, Jl. PB Sudirman No. 1 Dauh Puri, West Denpasar, Denpasar City, Bali on September 15, 2021. Then the shoes will be distributed to Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara which is part of the Udayana Region using TNI transportation.
