Matahari ("Company"; stock code: "LPPF") today officially opened its 5th new store this year at Citiplaza Bondowoso, East Java, after previously conducting a soft opening on October 20, 2022. The new store is strategically located on the main provincial road, close to several local government agencies. Coming with a new, smaller store format concept, Matahari Citiplaza Bondowoso targets higher store productivity and also uses 100% LED lighting. With a total area of 2,800 m2, this Matahari store is the 20th store in East Java, with a total of 143 stores in Indonesia.
Matahari, as the House of Specialists , presents a unique new shopping experience for consumers to get a wide range of fashion products at affordable prices. Citiplaza Bondowoso is a shopping and entertainment center from NWP Property. The mall was officially opened today as the first mall in Bondowoso Regency, East Java, and its presence will help boost the economy of the surrounding community. Matahari Citiplaza Bondowoso supports the local economy by employing more than 80 local employees.

Matahari will open five new stores in Gresik (East Java), East Jakarta, Bontang (East Kalimantan), Manado (North Sulawesi), and Kendari (Southeast Sulawesi) in November and December, with a total expansion of 10 stores in 2022. In addition, Matahari has the visibility to open 12-15 new stores in 2023 and increase opportunities for store expansion and job creation. The number of operating stores; nationally by the end of 2022 will be 148 and is targeted to be 160 or more by the end of 2023.
