Matahari Presents Instagrammable Fitting Room Installation

As part of the recent launch of Matahari’s (“Company”, stock code: “LPPF”) new identity as ‘ House of Specialists ’, Matahari invites its customers to explore something new in its stores and within themselves through a series of activities such as Fitting Room Installation, Photo Challenge and Fashion Talks.

As a continuation of various programs in the coming months and seasons, Matahari will carry out several interesting activities for its customers. In the #SambutMatahariBaru campaign, Matahari presents a fitting room installation in collaboration with local designers or artists. This fitting room installation will be installed in six Matahari stores spread across Indonesia. In addition, Matahari also holds Fashion Talks and Fashion Shows in the same six stores. These various activities start from Matahari Mall Taman Anggrek on Saturday, November 5, 2022.

Collaborating with five local designers in creating this installation, we believe their beautiful works can provide a better and more enjoyable experience at Matahari and reach our customers even more through social media. We invite customers to come and experience firsthand the new Matahari store and also the four main pillars of Matahari which are displayed through the latest products, affordable prices, better customer shopping experience and skilled human resources."

Matahari presents this fitting room installation in six outlets located in Jakarta (Mall Taman Anggrek), Tangerang (Supermal Karawaci), Jogja (Mall Ambarukmo), Surabaya (Tunjungan Plaza), Medan (Medan Fair) and Makassar (Mall Panakukkang) from November 5 to December 10, 2022. Matahari also invites its customers to explore these outlets which have unique design concepts. For Jakarta and Tangerang, the fitting room was designed by Thomas Kurniawan. Meanwhile, Alodia Yap designed the installation in Surabaya. The installation in Jogja was made by Irindhita Laras. For Makassar, there was June Junia who made the design and finally Darmawan Aji presented his best work in Medan.

To maximize the presence of this unique fitting room installation, Matahari invites its customers to participate in the Fitting Room Photo Challenge which can be followed through social media. Followers can visit the fitting room installation and upload their photos through social media. Matahari provides weekly and monthly prizes as well as a grand prize in the form of shopping vouchers and/or gadgets for the winners.

Other interesting activities that customers can explore and participate in the new Matahari are the Fashion Talks and Fashion Show events. This event showcases various products available at Matahari and also invites fashion enthusiasts and customers to get to know the new Matahari better.

Fashion Talks is an interactive event that presents Indonesian fashion stylists and Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) as guest stars . Before the event is held, five fashion stylists ask their followers about fashion issues they face through social media. Acting as judges, these fashion stylists will choose one winner who has given their comments on social media to come to the event and get the chance to be styled during Fashion Talks and the Fashion Show . In addition, five other winners will get the chance to win shopping vouchers from Matahari.

The first Fashion Talks and Fashion Show event will be held in Jakarta on November 5, 2022 and will feature Sekar Larasari as a fashion stylist and Devano as a KOL. Devano will also attend the Fashion Talks event at Supermal Karawaci on November 26, 2022. Meanwhile, the Fashion Talks events in Jogja (November 9, 2022) and Medan (November 12, 2022), will be attended by Dian Ayu as a guest star. Nana Mirdad will attend the Fashion Talks event in Medan on December 3, 2022 and Andrew White will join in Makassar on December 10, 2022.
