PT Matahari Department Store Tbk ("Matahari" or "the Company"; stock code: "LPPF") officially launched a new store concept on Friday, July 8, 2022 that is fresh, bright, modern, clean, contemporary to provide a pleasant and memorable retail experience for customers, in line with the overall goal of creating a "House of Specialist" where brands are curated and presented in a contemporary manner in one clear destination with the same standards as specialty stores but on a larger scale.
Matahari brings this new store concept to Matahari Supermall Karawaci, Banten as an addition to its expansion and commitment to provide the best value for its customers. The preparation of the last two (2) years has brought the new store concept to Matahari Ambarrukmo Plaza and Matahari Taman Anggrek, in line with Matahari's new business strategy and accelerated store opening plan which will be seen from 10 new stores opened in 2022 and many more modernized.
Matahari continues to innovate by using more environmentally friendly materials with 100% LED lighting and increasing the use of environmentally friendly materials in each new store. The future community goals are in line with Matahari's commitment to bring fresh new merchandise and the “Feel Good” experience into all aspects of the customer journey.
Matahari Karawaci has planned special entertainment and brand promotion events for the upcoming weekend which will be promoted through Instagram live and also Shop and Talk channels. Matahari Karawaci also celebrated Eid al-Adha by giving Qurban to Masjid Jami Al Karomah on July 8, 2022.
