Matahari (the "Company"; stock code: "LPPF") today officially opened its 9th new store at Mall @Bassura (East Jakarta), followed by the opening of its 10th new store at Icon Mall Gresik (East Java) tomorrow. Having just rebranded itself as the 'House of Specialists' in 2022, Matahari's new stores at Mall @Bassura and Matahari Icon Mall Gresik feature updated product offerings, a fresh new store concept, and an enhanced customer shopping experience. Featuring 100% LED lighting, both stores are environmentally friendly with a total area of 3,700 m2 and 5,500 m2 respectively.

Matahari Mall @Bassura is strategically located near the connecting access between South Jakarta, East Jakarta, and Bekasi which is supported by integrated public transportation, as well as access to the Jakarta inner ring road and the Becakayu toll intersection. Meanwhile, Matahari Icon Mall Gresik is close to toll road access, the main road of Gresik Regency, and the Gresik Regency General Hospital. These two new Matahari stores bring the total stores throughout Indonesia in 2022 to 148.
Mall @Bassura and Icon Mall Gresik are lifestyle and entertainment shopping centers in both cities. Jakarta has a population of more than 11 million people while Gresik has a population of more than 1.3 million people. Supporting the local economy, both outlets will employ around 80% of the local population.
Coinciding with the grand opening of its two newest stores, Matahari held a CSR program by donating a total of Rp35,000,000 to the Al Magfiroh Mosque and the Parapattan Orphanage from Matahari Mall @Bassura as well as the Yatim Putri Fadhillah Orphanage, the Salafiyah Nurul Ulum Orphanage, the Tahfidz Preneur Rahmatullah Islamic Boarding School, and the As-Syahada Sholeh Children's Islamic Boarding School from Matahari Icon Mall Gresik. All of these organizations or places are located near the two new Matahari stores.
