PT Matahari Department Store Tbk ("Matahari" or "Company"; stock code: "LPPF") donated Rp1,300,000,000 to Dompet Dhuafa collected from the "Infaq Lewat Kasir 2022" program. This program has been running for the period of March 1 - May 31, 2022 in 140 outlets throughout Indonesia throughout the Festive Season during the Lebaran period.
Matahari collaborates with Dompet Dhuafa for the Infaq via Cashier program which aims to encourage customers to donate through Matahari cashiers throughout Indonesia. Donations will be handed over to Dompet Dhuafa to help those in need through several humanitarian programs in the fields of health, environment and education especially for children.
Matahari cashier team channeled Matahari's giving back spirit to customers, so that customers can make donations through this program. The total customer donation during this period has been given to Dompet Dhuafa, with a total value of IDR 1.3 billion.
Internally, Matahari Management challenges its cashier team to provide the best performance and service to customers, especially during the Lebaran period. Through this challenge, Management gives appreciation to 3 outlets with the highest number of Customer Donations. Management has given Gift Vouchers to all cashier teams of the 3 best outlets, namely Matahari Cibinong, Matahari Ekalokasari Bogor, and Matahari Citimall Sukabumi.
The symbolic handover ceremony of Customer Donations and awards took place at Matahari Cibinong, Bogor, West Java on Friday, July 1, 2022. This ceremony was broadcast on Instagram Live from IG @storyofmatahari at 10.00 WIB.
