Tangerang, May 10, 2021 - Matahari Department Store (“Matahari”) became the selected shopping center used by the National Alms Agency (BAZNAS) of South Kalimantan in the “Ramadhan Belanja Ceria” activity held on May 7, 2021. This activity took place at Matahari Duta Banjarmasin which is located at Duta Mall, Jalan A. Yani, Melayu, Banjarmasin City, South Kalimantan.
The “Ramadhan Belanja Ceria” activity was attended by a total of 150 Orphans from the Sentosa Orphanage and other orphans in the Banjarmasin area. This activity is a routine activity held by BAZNAS as a manifestation of the distribution of Zakat, Infaq/Alms (ZIS) and Other Religious Social Funds (DSKL) in accordance with Law No. 23 of 2011 and PP RI No. 14 of 2014. Part of the donations collected at BAZNAS South Kalimantan this year were used for “Ramadhan Belanja Ceria” by providing Rp350,000.00 to each child involved in shopping at Matahari Duta Banjarmasin.
