Modern retail chain PT Matahari Department Store Tbk ("Matahari" or "the Company"; stock code: "LPPF") is expanding its business by opening two (2) new outlets this month, in line with Matahari's theme for this season, Musim untuk Bersinar (Season to Shine). Matahari today opened 1 new outlet in Cianjur Citimall 2, West Java and will open another one at One Batam Mall, Batam, Riau Islands on December 20, 2021. The outlet in Cianjur is Matahari's first outlet in the city, while the outlet at One Batam Mall will be the fourth outlet in Batam. These outlets are the third and fourth new outlets opened in 2021, so that by the end of 2021 Matahari will have 139 outlets throughout Indonesia.
The opening is in line with Matahari's plan to accelerate expansion and another 10 new stores are scheduled to open in 2022, subject to prevailing conditions.
In this shining season, Matahari Cianjur Citimall 2 and Matahari One Batam Mall are ready to welcome loyal customers by providing the best customer experience service and store opening promotions. Both stores have around 5,000 m2 of retail space and offer more than 100 well-known brands. All are equipped with a variety of attractive product choices, women's and men's fashion products, children's and adults, attractive accessory choices,
cosmetics and household supplies, as well as a variety of shoe and bag collections available at special prices, which help meet the needs of Matahari customers.
